About UsThe Planet Protectors is a collection of students at Oswego East High School, formed to research and experiment with environmental changes. Within Ms. Naser's Honors Chemistry course, the coalition is challenged to offer possible solutions to the growing number of problems in today's society. Their current project analyzes the effects of acidic and basic cleaners on earth's water supply, specifically Lake Michigan. Although many understand the direct dangers of cleaning products to humans, most are unaware of the indirect ways in which these household items harm us. We hope that our research and experimentation can help you understand the daily threat of water contamination.
